Line 120 in modeltest.cpp causes infinite recursions with qstandarditemmodel. I've talked to TT support and they told me that its perfectly fine for a model to handle invalid variants, hence this call is not a non-destructive test as the model might do something meaningful and actually reset any data it has stored causing the change-signals to be emitted.
