This blog is by and of the Qt and Qtopia development team. It’s for anybody with an interest—maybe even if your interest is just about programming in general and not Qt specifically. Nobody tells the developers what or when to post, though probably there’s stuff they might be told not to post. If Haavard Nord or Erik Chambe-Eng, the two original developers, company founders and executives, were interested in posting something about Qt/Qtopia’s direction or vision, that would fit the spirit of this blog. My hope for this blog is that it will put a face on the development force behind Qt, and show some of the inner workings of the process that leads to released software (at least, our version of that process).

We currently allow comments just about everywhere. We apply technology to reduce spam; but comments shouldn’t be denied just because they’re negative. We reserve the right to block comments that really are just trawling for a fight. Haven’t had to do that yet; hope that need never arises.

Feel free to quote and link of course (as if you needed permission). Other than that, I guess the only hope is that you find something valuable and enjoyable here.
