I’m happy to announce (no April joke this time) that every attendee to the KDevelop developer meeting in Munich will get a free USB hub (4 port) with integrated coffee cup lukewarmer! No more cold coffee, this wonderful device will make sure that your perfect brew will stay hot warm slightly above room temperature at all time:
There are still some free seats, please check the KDevelop wiki for registration info and instructions on how to get there.
Disclaimer: Cup not included in offer. However, coffee and tea are free during the meeting

This changes everything! Where do I sign up?! ![]()
Let me point out one important thing: Harald said it’s a “coffee cup warmer”. He did not say “coffee warmer”.
The difference is subtle, but important:
1) it heats your cup, not your coffee. First-hand experience.
2) do not pour coffee on top of the warmer without a cup. Not first-hand experience. ![]()
Have you tried using a plastic cup? It might be thin enough (and isolate poorly enough) for some heat to actually get through to the coffee itself…
@wysota: Trouble with plastic cups is that a) the heat also goes to my fingers, which I don’t like that much and b) they usually enter a strange symbiosis with the hub, so you need three people to get it off again.
Oooh, is a free Mac Book Pro also included in this special limited time offer? ![]()
I have such cup warmer. It works ok as a hub (as there is power supply connector) but as a warmer is just fails completely.
But I hope that this one is USB 2.0 not 1.1 like mine.
@harald: You can’t have them all… Anyway I think I prefer the tape dispenser hub we saw during last DevDays event in Munich - not so controversial (and it glowed)… And you could even use the tape to fix a hole in the plastic cup after ending its symbiosis with the warmer-hub…
